Lucy Gordon commits suicide in Paris

British actress Lucy Gordon, who portrayed reporter Jennifer Dugan in "Spiderman 3", has committed suicide in her Paris apartment on Thursday. The actress took her life just two days before her 29th birthday. No other detail for the cause of the suicide has been received.

Since her debut in the 2001 movie "Perfume", Gordon had appeared in about a dozen films which include The Russian Dolls, Brief Interviews with Hideous Men and Spiderman 3. Just to name a few.

She had recently completed making a bio-pic about the late French singer Serge Gainsbourg in which she portrayed Gainsbourg’s ex-companion Jane Birkin. The film is expected to be released next year.
